Moxi is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser that delivers low-level energy to the skin to stimulate collagen production and accelerate cell turnover. It’s designed for patients at any stage of their skincare journey, from younger individuals seeking prejuvenation to more mature patients looking to refresh and refine their skin’s appearance. Moxi’s gentle fractionated wavelength corrects pigment issues and improves both tone and texture, addressing concerns like dullness, pigmentation, rough texture, and early signs of aging.
At La Chelé, we often pair Moxi with other Sciton technologies like BBL® HERO for even more comprehensive results. Whether used as a preventative treatment or part of a maintenance plan, Moxi offers a safe, effective path to luminous skin with minimal disruption to your routine.

Your visit begins with a consultation, during which our advanced Laser Technicians will review your skin concerns and together craft a personalized treatment plan.
From there, they can determine the safest and most effective settings to tackle your concerns, such as wrinkles, minor skin laxity, texture, complexion, and sun damage.
A treatment with Moxi is both comfortable and quick! The prep and treatment will take approximately 30 minutes, with the actual treatment only taking 12-15 minutes! Our Laser Technicians will glide the laser across your skin. You will feel slight warmth, which means you are on your way to glowing and clearer skin. After this, you can return to your regularly scheduled day! We always apply sunscreen post-treatment and ask that you continue to re-apply every day.
How many sessions of Moxi will I need?
The number of sessions for a Moxi treatment will vary depending on your individual aesthetic goals. At La Chelé, we offer complimentary consultations with our experienced medical providers, who will discuss these goals with you. Typically, 3-4 treatments are recommended 4-5 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments as needed.
Moxi is ideal for treating and preventing a range of common skin concerns, including:
This treatment is gentle yet effective, suitable for all skin types and safe for year-round use, even on tanned or deeper skin tones, when performed by experienced providers.

Moxi is incredibly versatile and can be used on almost any area of the body where you want to improve tone, texture, and radiance. Commonly treated areas include:
This makes Moxi an ideal choice not only for facial rejuvenation but also for addressing sun damage and early aging on the body, delivering a head-to-toe refresh with minimal downtime.

Sciton Moxi utilizes non-ablative laser energy to revitalize skin and can be done on your lunch break. Moxi can be used alone or in combination with BBL or Halo. Moxi creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which will prompt the body to heal and thus build collagen. This laser treatment targets a specific layer of the skin, leaving the remaining skin unaffected with little to no downtime.

Moxi is a great laser for ALL skin types! Unlike many laser devices, Moxi is safe and effective in both light and darker skin tones.
This treatment is ideal for anyone seeking to prevent early signs of aging, improve uneven tone or texture, or maintain radiant skin year-round. If you want a gentle yet effective way to achieve smoother, brighter, more luminous skin, you’re likely an excellent candidate.

Post-treatment effects are minimal. The day following your treatment, your skin may be mildly swollen, appear red, and if you look hard enough, you may see micro-channels from the laser. This resembles small dots on the skin, which look a lot like freckles. Not to worry, the redness and appearance of small dots fades quickly, revealing glowy, beautiful skin. We recommend that you continue your skincare routine of cleansing, moisturizing, and, as always, applying sunscreen.
You should begin to see results with just 1-2 of your treatments! However, for optimal results, we do recommend completing your treatment plan or package. Many clients find Moxi’s results comparable to those of Halo but with significantly less downtime. Skin becomes softer, tone becomes more uniform, and fine lines begin to fade. With regular maintenance, Moxi helps preserve youthful skin and prevent future damage, making it a cornerstone of long-term skin health at La Chelé.

As one of the first providers in the tri-state area to offer Moxi, at La Chelé, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results.

Compared to other lasers for skin rejuvenation, Moxi is less invasive and has little to no downtime. If your goal is to enhance skin tone and texture without the need for intensive skin remodeling, Moxi is an excellent choice.
Moxi laser primarily improves skin texture, tone, and overall appearance by stimulating collagen production, but it is not specifically designed for significant skin tightening. It can have a mild tightening effect over time as collagen builds, but for more noticeable skin tightening, treatments like Halo or radiofrequency devices may be more effective. Ask your La Chelé provider for recommendations.
Numbing cream is applied prior to Moxi, minimizing discomfort during the treatment.
Yes, Moxi is safe for all skin tones, including Fitzpatrick types IV–VI, when performed by trained providers. It’s also a great year-round treatment, even for sun-exposed or tanned skin.
Pricing for Moxi laser varies by location on the body and number of treatments needed. We are happy to provide an accurate quote for your treatment at your consultation.
Absolutely. At La Chelé, Moxi is often paired with BBL, DiamondGlow®, or medical-grade skincare for enhanced results. We’ll help you design a customized treatment plan that supports both your short- and long-term goals.
Once any initial redness has begun to subside, you can typically wear mineral makeup 24 hours after your treatment. For the best results, be sure to follow our team’s post-care guidelines.
MENDS are tiny microzones of treated skin that look like small dots or mild bronzing. They slough off naturally within 3–5 days, revealing fresh, new skin underneath. It’s important not to pick or exfoliate them prematurely.
Yes, Moxi can improve mild acne scarring and uneven skin texture by encouraging collagen production and speeding up skin renewal. Your provider will evaluate your skin to determine the best approach.
