A Nefertiti Lift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that targets and rejuvenates the lower face and neck area, primarily focusing on lifting the jawline and tightening sagging skin. It is named after the ancient Egyptian queen Nefertiti, known for her well-defined jawline and youthful appearance.
The procedure typically involves the use of Botox or other injectable neuromodulators that are strategically injected into specific areas of the neck and jawline. These injections work by relaxing the muscles responsible for sagging, which can help define the jawline, reduce the appearance of neck bands, and lift the skin.
At La Chelé, our expert practitioners inject Botox and Dysport along the lower jawline and the sides of the neck, targeting the Platysmal Band muscles. This helps to rebalance muscle power, resulting in a more toned, defined jawline and a tighter neck. The amount of Botox or Dysport needed depends on the individual and desired results. Just like regular Botox or Dysport treatments, we recommend re-treatment every 3-5 months to maintain optimal results.

Yes, Botox can work on neck wrinkles, especially the horizontal lines or “neck bands” that can appear as we age. These wrinkles often form due to the contraction of neck muscles like the platysma. Botox, when injected into the neck muscles, helps relax these muscles, leading to a smoother appearance in the area and reducing the visibility of lines and creases.
While Botox doesn’t directly tighten skin (it relaxes the muscles), it can smooth out the appearance of the neck by reducing the muscle movement underneath, which may create a more youthful, smoother appearance.
A Botox neck lift should last 3-4 months in the average patient, however an increased dose may be required if not lasting 3-4 months.
Botox typically takes about 3 to 7 days to start showing noticeable effects on neck bands (platysmal bands). Full results are usually seen within 2 weeks after the injection.
