The chronic condition affecting all genders and ages, often occurring in cyclical patterns related to hormonal changes, particularly on the jawline. Acne is often at its worst during puberty, pregnancy, and perimenopause and menopause.

What are the Causes of Acne?

  • Hormonal changes: Androgens increase during puberty, causing sebaceous glands to enlarge and produce more sebum.
  • Stress: Elevated cortisol levels during stress can worsen breakouts.
  • Diet: Foods high in milk and sugar can trigger acne.
  • Environment: Humidity and air pollution can exacerbate acne.
  • Sebaceous gland malfunctions: Excessive sebum production, excess dead skin cells, hyperkeratinization, bacteria, and inflammation all contribute to acne.

La Chele is proud to introduce AviClear

This acne solution works by suppressing the sebaceous glands, effectively reducing and regulating oil production. By addressing the root cause of acne rather than just the symptoms, AviClear offers a comprehensive approach to clearer skin. Safe for all skin types, clinical studies have shown that AviClear can significantly reduce both the severity and frequency of breakouts, with results that continue to improve even after the treatment has concluded.

How many treatments are needed?

How does AviClear work?

Three, 50-minute treatments are recommended for best results spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart.

With AviClear, we can effectively reduce inflammation and prevent future breakouts without compromising the integrity of your skin. The laser targets the source of sebum production, heating and precisely injuring the sebaceous glands to reduce oil production and eliminate acne-causing bacteria.

Is AviClear effective for treating different types of acne?

AviClear can treat many types of acne, including:

Cystic Acne:

Deep, pus-filled pimples that can form either on the surface or beneath the skin. These breakouts are often painful and tend to persist longer than other types of acne.

Inflammatory Acne:

Acne that causes red, swollen blemishes such as pustules, nodules, and cysts, leading to more severe and irritating breakouts.

Hormonal Acne:

Breakouts caused by hormonal fluctuations, which can occur at any stage of adulthood, including during perimenopause and postmenopausal, making it a common issue throughout life.

Whiteheads:

Small, clogged pores that appear as tiny, white or flesh-colored bumps on the skin’s surface.

How does AviClear differ from Aerolase NeoClear treatments?

AviClear offers faster and longer-lasting results compared to other therapies however, it does not address pigmentation issues as effectively as Aerolase NeoClear. For optimal results, both treatments can be used together. We recommend consulting with one of our medical providers to determine the best treatment plan for your specific skin goals.

What makes AviClear different from other laser therapies?

AviClears wavelength is specifically designed to target and treat oil glands which are responsible for causing acne. By suppressing the oil gland this treatment is able to significantly reduce the oil production within the skin, reducing clogged pores which can lead to break outs, without the risk of hyperpigmentation.
